The View From My Beer

Travel has always been an important part of my life since I was very young. I can thank my parents for that. There are many ways to travel and experience the world and I have tried quite a few of them. Ultimately. I have settled on cruising. I like the convenience of cruising and the way it can take a lot of the stress out of travel. It gives me a chance to relax more and truly enjoy what I am seeing.

My ultimate goal in life has been to wake up each day, take a walk, and see or experience something completely different. An important part of that involves sitting down and enjoying a nice cold glass of beer. It allows me a chance to reflect on my day (or days) and observe the world around me. You might prefer a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. It doesn’t matter. What matters is getting out there and experiencing new and different things and then taking the time to reflect and truly appreciate what you have seen.

This web site is an effort to consolidate what I have seen on my travels and to share that with my family and friends. I waited until 2025 to start this project. I wish I had started so much sooner. Over the years I have seen so many things, met so many wonderful people, and enjoyed some of the most amazing experiences. It would be a shame to have spent a lifetime doing all that and not leaving something behind for those interested in the view from my beer.
